Expertise in Hydrogeology, Ground and surface water geochemistry and Modelling, Water quality Monitoring and Management
I hold an Engineer degree in Hydrogeology and Geological Engineering, a Master’s degree in Water Resources Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering. I have over 18 years of professional experience in hydrogeology, including 15 years dedicated to groundwater resources in the Mekong Delta. My work has focused on critical issues such as arsenic contamination, groundwater salinization, artificial recharge applications, and land subsidence. In addition, I have implemented projects on groundwater investigation, monitoring network development, sustainable water management, and numerical modeling in collaboration with local government and industry. Since March 2021, I have served as a lecturer at the Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT), Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM). I currently lead the Water Environmental Management research group, which includes four Ph.D. students and four Master’s students.
